This Fond du Lac home, built by a father and son working together, is where our custom dining rug found its place. The rest of the main floor was planned with the same care.
A light oak-look floor runs through the kitchen and dining area in long planks, keeping the open layout bright under the vaulted, beamed ceiling. It’s a practical choice for the busiest part of the house, easy to clean and ready for everyday traffic between the island, the table, and the patio door.
In the living room, the hard surface gives way to soft carpet. It sets that area apart as a place to relax without breaking up the open floor plan, so the whole main floor feels open and connected.
An open kitchen, dining, and living area in a Fond du Lac new build. A light oak-look hard surface floor transitions to carpet in the living room.
